That is an error message from a VBA (Saxbasic) script, but no one could help you unless you provide a lot more detail.

Good morning Mr John Peck, what are the other details required in order for you to assist me in resolving this issue? I have downloaded the SPSS version 14.0 for windows 64-bit. Thank you.

You haven't said what procedure you are running or what other output you got.  But if you are really using V14, that is more than ten years old and is not likely to work correctly on a modern version of Windows.  I don't know where anyone would even be able to go to find V24.  Maybe you have the version number wrong.

Good morning Mr John Peck, sorry for the wrong version input to you. My SPSS statistics software is currently version 29.0. The only output that was shown was the Error in Line 1 as shown in the picture above. I am currently running a procedure to calculate the mean, median and standard variances for a final year study on Construction 4.0 in private companies. I have collected 101 responses in excel through google forms and opened the excel file in the SPSS to run and analyze but the only output shown is the Error in Line 1. Below is the data collected from my survey in the SPSS view. Thank you.

Below is the only output I am able to receive after clicking the analyze Tab, descriptive statistics and then frequencies.

    Thank you.

The only way that that message could appear is if you are invoking a SaxBasic script, which should not happen with the scenario you describe.  If it happens with Frequencies, then it would probably happen with any other procedure that produces a pivot table, although that is not certain.

Go to Edit > Options > Scripts and uncheck the box "Enable Autoscripting".  The only way I can think of to get a SaxBasic script invoked without explicitly running it would be as an automatic autoscript, so see if that fixes the problem.

Good afternoon, I have done as said above but there are no changes in the existing output tab. I cancelled the tab and tried to run the analyze again but now there is no pop-up tab appeared. Tried to do a couple of times but the results were same. Would like to hear Mr John Peck's advice on how I may resolve this pop-up tab issue and also the main problem discussed about the error occuring still when running the analysis. Thank you very much.

So, the error message is gone?

Try running an OMSEND command (Utilties > OMS Control Panel).  If you see an OMS request active, just end it.
