Hi

I have created a publish channel and created an automation script for external exit for same. I used python as language. Any code I write in script block and try to test it the test window which doesn't open and gives below error. Tried with just print statement and results are same. The other scripts work fine on enterprise service or on  filter event of channel service but any scripts on external exit of publish channel is giving below error. What could be the issue.

Testing of automation scripts in the current version is very limited and not really supported. In the next release (MAS 8.8 on July 26), we drastically enhanced the testing capabilities to support most automation scripts events with the ability to define data (or retrieve a desired MBO) and have the script execute without committing the data unless you explicitly save in your script. 

I believe this new functionality is also being added to 7.6.1.3 (end of August) if you are not ready to go to MAS yet.
