We are working with CA 11.2.3.

Is there a setting to embed a font in a report with HTML output as well as in PDF output?
The Client wants to implement a custom font on all reports without having to install it on each employee's computer.

thanks for your answer.

I already have the font set up in the CA environment as stated in the note that you sent me.
I explain my problem with some screenshots..

On the computer where CA is running (All in One installation for Development environment) the font "Sora" has been installed in C:\Windows\Fonts

In Cognos Configuration I have added the font to the Global Configuration


After modifying the configuration, I restarted the CA service
From the server where CA runs, create a report with a Text using the new font.
As you can see, the same if it is applied in the report.

But if I open or run the same report from another computer where the font is not installed locally, the font is replaced by another one for text formatting


Is there any way for me to respect the font without having to install it on the rest of the computers?

This is working as expected. If you create a PDF, it should have the font available if you use Configure Embedded Fonts for PDF Reports.

However, if you are using a computer without the font, there will be a substitution.

Yes, I already knew the settings to embed fonts in PDF output.

I wasn't sure if they had moved on to have the same functionality but for HTML output.

HTML outputs, it is necessary to have the font installed.
There is no other way.
