    I am new to ITXA and using 9.0 version.
    Can we develop maps (HIPAA EDI) in design studio for 270/271?
    I would like to know how to connect web-services or SOA services to get response in real-time with in design studio map.
    from output card i see that under target option we can select SOAP, HTTP etc...

    Please advise. Thank you.

    We sure can create maps for any EDI standard including HIPPA. Assuming that you have installed appropriate ITX packs.

    Not really sure how to integrate the map with SOAP, guess you can try by setting source as SOAP on input card and providing command similar to -ENV -TRANSPORT 'HTTP(-URL http://www.mysite.com)'. To make a SOAP request you can do this  - GET("SOAP", "-ENV -TRANSPORT 'HTTP(-URL http://www.mysite.com , Request)' (From IBM Documentation)
