    Hi,
I have been tasked with instantiating version control for database objects in a Db2 LUW v11.5.8 database.
The company uses GIT for their version control.
    I have Data Studio v4.1.4 apar4

I downloaded egit (eclipse git) v5.13 and used the install function in Help dropdown in DataStudio. EGit 6.0 (and above) does not like the environment - thus v5.13.

I can open a GIT Perspective, which does display the local repository (as i would expect) on my machine.

If anyone has done this, have you been able to directly integrate the database objects to git? It feels like I have to put the objects (stored procedures, functions, etc..) in a file in order for git to be able to see it. I want to select a stored procedure within Data Studio and have git see it.
