    Do you have any solution for this situation?

    I tried installing a generic printer on AIX, but it did not work any change in the lp command with the option for duplex printing.

    I use enscript tool. Available in Linux Toolkit CD or from IBM website. Here is one example I use for my script

    /opt/freeware/bin/enscript -n $PRINT_QTY --fancy- header=IBM -dibm1372 -DDuplex:true /home/ftp/pub/docs/$HOSTNAME.map
