Hello
Parameter values should be fine. For 1st column they all should have the options from 1 data item. What I want to achieve is to make them work independently. So if in the 1st column I set value "Not procurable" I want to have that selected only at that particular line, not for all of them.
Having to set custom prompts to each of the lines is impossible in my understanding. 1st of all the size of the table is dynamic as I mentioned in the description. Furthermore for a column I can set only 1 prompt.

Looks like all prompts have same parameter values, please create separate parameter values.

Subject: Drop Down in list object in Reports
Hello,
I'm using Cognos 11.1.4 Report.
I would like to create a report which has a list containing data items and for each line I want to insert a drop down where users can select items. The drop downs are using a data item and should set to cascade source, so the higher level drop down would filter the lower one ending in fewer options to select.
I was able to create a list in the report with drop downs using value prompts and set cascade source. However, my problem is that the number of rows in the list can be vary (depending on filters - user will get here via drill through from a dashboard) so the result set can be 5, 10 or 50 line of data and the prompt that I added its selected items applies to all the lines in the list. I made a video to demonstrate the problem.
I would like to achieve that the prompts will change only by row not by the whole column.
Is there any way to do this? Can I add drop downs to the list that behave individually for each line? It doesn't matter if its normal or active report. The prompts / drop downs are not used as filters they should have only a visual select function.
Any help is appreciated.
