In 11.0.13.1 when you went create a drill-through from a dashboard's visualization, you could pick an option to apply that drill-through definition to all via the "Apply to all visualizations that use the data source: 'XXXX' option.  It would then be available for all visualizations in that dashboard regardless if it was a multi-tab dashboard.

In 11.1.3, has this feature changed?

When you select "Apply to all visualizations that use the data source 'XXXXX' in the same connection, the drill-through does not work for other tabs.   In effect, it seems you need to build new dill-through mappings for every tab.  This  a tremendously time consuming process if you have a multi-tab dashboard

Is this intentional?  Is there a work-around?

Hi Barry.  I noticed this same change between 11.0 and 11.1.  I have found no work-around for it.

This behavior seems to match the documentation. 

In 11.0 the documentation says "select the checkbox to add the drill-through definition to all visualizations in your dashboard or story that use the same data source".

In 11.1 documentation, the checkbox comes with 2 stipulations: (1) the visualizations must be from the same data source, and (2) the visualizations are in the same connection. 

Since "connections" do not cross tabs in Dashbaords, (ex: if I select a value in a Visualization in tab1 it does not cross over to tab 2 even if the Vis comes from the same data source and is on connection "1" in both tabs), you could infer from the 11.1 documentation that Drill Throughs therefore cannot cross tabs.

To my way of thinking, the documentation change implies that the change in behavior was intentional -- but I'll let someone from IBM say for sure!
