I don't think Optim has the built-in ability to create a separate converted .xf file and then delete the source extract .xf file upon completion. It has the option of deleting the source .xf if the convert fails, but not if it is successful as far as I can tell.
Could you instead just point your extract request to create the initial .xf in the desired folder you want the convert file and then do 'run convert after extract"? This would create the .xf file in the correct folder and then convert it. You won't have to deal with two files this way.
If that is not possible, you could still achieve what you want but would probably need to implement some steps outside of Optim to move/delete unwanted files. All of this could be done in a single batch file, though.
