    Hello Team, 

    one quick question. 

    Does OpenID Connect authentication is supported by Maximo 7612 with weblogic as middleware for an on premise Installation?

    There is no confirmed solution or comment on this. Please let us know if someone has done it earlier.

    Hi Karthik,

    First you will need to be using a supported version of Weblogic with Maximo 7.6.1.2 based on the IBM Support Matrix. 
    Maximo from the front end - will have to enable useappsecurity and other values configured to allow the single sign authentication.

    Next you need to refer to the documentation with Oracle for setup of OKTA type of IDP such as OpenID. OpenID will need be connected to a supported authentication source of Microsoft LDAP or IBM Tivoli Directory for this to work with Maximo.
    And you will need likely need to check with OpenID - Use cases, documentation and support for Weblogic with Maximo.
