    Hi All

    We are on MAS with Manage 8.5.6. We are planning to migrate inspection forms created in Dev to higher environments and exploring the best ways to do so. I wanted to check if Migration Manager supports the migration of Inspection forms in latest version of Manage 8.5.6? considering the changes that happened related to moving away from Work Centers based architecture to Graphite role based app? What will be the best way to migrate inspections forms now ?

    You might want to considering using the Maximo dev tools plugin for VS Code.  It supports export and importing inspection forms as well as provides an easier way to edit the forms.  Since it extracts the forms in JSON format you can also check them into version control and develop proper processes for managing configurations.

    Hi Jason,

    I am able to connect in Maximo 7.6.1.3, but in MAS 8 (version 8.11), when I attempt to "deploy to Maximo," I receive the following error: "Request failed with status code 403."

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    The Migration Manager application simply leverages the Maximo Integration Framework.  Just copy the object structures used for the graphite applications and use them in Migration Manger (they all start with DM and are consumed by MIGRATIONMGR as opposed to INTEGRATION.). This way you can migrate the forms you want in the manner you decide. 

    Using Migration Manager is a tried and tested tool to move your configurations from one environment to then next.  Use of Collections can greatly streamline your change control process and documentation.  The really cool thing... it is all in Maximo and a third party tool is not needed.
