Does IBM Watson Iot board also accepts string/text value?

  • 1.  Does IBM Watson Iot board also accepts string/text value?

    I tried sending string as well as numerical value to IBM Watson Iot board but in the board it can capture only the numerical value not the string or text value so is it because IBM Watson supports only numerical value?
