    Hi,

    I've recently set-up Android Enterprise for any new Android Devices, however I noticed yesterday when I removed MaaS control from a mobile, the device was totally factory wiped.  I can't see anywhere in the policy where I've configured this. I'd rather just get an alert than wiping the device.  
    Can someone advise where I configure these settings please?

    Answering myself..... The policy has "Factory Reset Protection" Enabled.  Is it this I need to untick?  Thanks.

    I'm still learning as well... but I believe that's expected when using Device Owner. If MDM is removed, the device factory resets. Profile Owner mode will let you remove the MDM.​

    Confirming that what Amy said is true - if a DO device has the Device Policy Controller (DPC) removed (in this case MaaS360) the device will automatically factory reset itself.
