Yes, I'm aware that I can see which device I last booted from.
Just to clarify, I'm looking to find out if my
running boot image is the same as the one on disk. Example:
1) Server running AIX 5.2, last boot on Monday, today is Wednesday, bootdisk is hd5
2) Server is upgraded to 5.3, today is Thurday, bootdisk is still hd5, running image is still 5.2.
At this point, my running image would boot and show me a boot image timestamp of say, 2005 regardless of when the server was last booted. However, the image on disk, on hd5, would be, say, 2007, different than the running image. I could see the last time hd5 was written to, but I wouldn't know the timestamp of that image either and I'd like something more concrete than just seeing hd5 was written to since the server has been up.
Unfortunately, I can't find a place (even in the bootlog) where that "Welcome to AIX" banner is kept since that has the boot image timestamp in it.
