datapath query device shows eight hdisks belonging to vpath0 (again, expected). However, when I reboot server, the original hdisks went defined, and 8 new hdisk definitions showed as available, and datapath query device shows the 'new' hdisks now belong to vpath0.

SDD and AIX appear to be doing what they're supposed to, and I can create vg-lv-file systems on vpath0, and I can access file systems on vpath0, but I can't account for the 'new' hdisk definitions; I apparently missed a step somewhere, but can't figure out where.

I made some 'changes' to the fscsi protocol devices per SVC Best Practices and Performance Guidelines redbook to allow for fast_fail and dyntrk=yes

Has anyone else experienced this behavior and resolved it? Have I missed a step somewhere?
