Hello,
In App Connect, an Integration Server is a process and each flows defined in the bar file is a Thread.
If you configure the flow to have more instances, other threads will be started based on the load.
But you might reach a CPU contention issue if you have too much work for the CPU assigned to your pod.

Thank you.. this is really helpful. Another query:
1. If i deploy two bar files with 5 additional instances each and deploy as single integration Server on CP4I, it creates a single pod, but whether the additional instance of each ACE application (5 each) will be still effective or since it is single pod, will it actually act as single threaded application?

Hi Santhosh,
This information might be of some help: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/containers_cd?topic=resources-integration-server-reference#providebars. Please see the External repository (middle) row. You can use the arrow < at the bottom of the table of contents (TOC) nav pane to temporarily collapse the TOC to better view the table.

Hi,
I am using CP4I 2021.2.1, Is there a way to deploy multiple bar files into single integration server in ACE running on CP4I and if so, how to do that using the ACE operator framework?
