    Hello,
     
    Please help, it is possible to deploy ACS with SCCM, I have hundreds of end users with windows 10 and 11 operating systems, any ideas on how to automate the deployment.

    Hello Carlos,

    First of all, ACS comes with 3 methods of deployments. 

    Single User Deployment: single user can deploy and customize IBM i Access Client Solutions; As a variation of this option, you may also choose to deploy the product from a central location as mentioned.

    1. Local Deployments: The product files will be copied to the local PC.

    Multiuser Deployment: This can be customized and deploy IBM i Access Client Solutions on a multi-user PC on Windows using the install_acs_xx_allusers.js deployment scripts.

    1. Shared Local Deployments: Admin creates the deployment file and rebundles them and puts them to the certain location on each user's PC.

    1. Shared Remote Deployments: Users need to connect to the remote location to start the product. The files only reside at the central location and are never copied to the local pc.

    Yes, ACS could be deployed through SCCM; the SCCM admin team knows how to handle the automatic installation on all 100 end users, but the main focus is whether end users are required to use all the ACS functional components, which is an organization decision.

    Just get the download file and share the product files of .js with the SCCM team.

    In addition to deployment of IBM i ACS, you also need to deploy JRE as well as it is needed by ACS to run.  The article provided by Steven addresses this part as well.  As for the choice of JRE, it should make more sense to use IBM i JRE named Semeru : https://developer.ibm.com/languages/java/semeru-runtimes/downloads/.  My guess is that the developers of ACS use Semeru as their JDK/JRE choice.
