MAM 7.6.1.2:

I have a custom dialog in the Classifications application that I created manually in ASSETCAT.XML (via XML export-->Notepad-->XML import).



As mentioned, I did need to create that dialog via XML. However, now that the dialog exists, it looks like I can edit it via the Application Designer UI (which is handy -- I didn't realize that was possible).

Question:
Is there a way to delete custom dialogs via the Application Designer UI?
I know it's possible to delete the custom dialog via XML -- and it doesn't take a ton of effort either. But I just thought I'd ask, since it seemed strange that I could edit the dialog via the UI, but not delete it.

Unfortunately no. I think (but don't have access to an environment to confirm anymore) that Control Desk (which is an IT solution built on top of Maximo) had a way to add dialogs from the UI in Application Designer. The only reason I think that is I feel like I remember asking why it never made it to core Maximo.
