  • 1.  DE200 Student - SPSS 25 not working on MacOS 14

    Hi there,

    I am a student at the open university. We were provided with a link to download SPSS version 25 for our module DE200, but unfortunately, as I am using a MacBook with Sonoma 14 I have not yet been able to use the program. 

    I was told to post on this forum in order to get version 29 which would work.

    Hi @Hannah Farmer,
    Unfortunately, IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 is no longer a supported product.  It reached End of Service over a year ago.  If you would like to install the current release -  IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0.1.1 -- you will need to obtain it from your organization or purchase it yourself.  Here is the IBM SPSS Pricing Page.

    Once you have IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0.1.0, 28.0.1.1, or 29.0.1.1 installed, you will need to obtain and apply an Interim Fix to allow these products to run on macOS 14.0 (Sonoma).  Please see my Blog on this issue.
