  • 1.  Db2 - NFS connection transfer archive logs error

    Posted 03/23/23 11:25 AM

    Hello community,

I pointed  logarchmeth1 parameter to NFS storage and I can see only one log there with size "0".

the error that I see in db2.diag log is: "Operating system reason code (errno): 0x00000032 (50) = No CSI structure available"

What may be the problem and how can I resolve this issue ?

    Hi Guy Przytula

    Thank you for the reply.

The problem is that we are using Windows with NFS client. We have full rights to read/write over the NFS and we continue to see this error and also we see the archive log on the NFS, but it`s size 0.

we had a similar problem on linux and had to add something to /etc/fstab mount setting

    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/db2-backup-log-archive-nfs-mounted-drive-returns-dia8519c

Consult with a System Administrator, to ensure the NFS directory is mounted with the "nolock" option.

I unmount the NFS and mount it again with no lock disabled, but the result is the same.
