    Hi there,

    anyone knows how "fast" security updates are made to DB2 Developer Community Edition?

    Besides the "standard" product download - is there any place where I can actually download patches to DB2 Community Edition?

    (I assume that I CAN NOT download/install general DB2 patches on Community Edition installation, right?)

    If you download and install any standard Db2 server fixpack and do not apply any license keys then you will be running the community edition.

    So every fixpack is available (latest being 11.5.8.0).

    Most of the time you'd just download and install the fixpack ("Server" fixpack) directly rather than downloading something older and then applying a patch.

    The same fixpack that works for other editions work for Community edition. Just apply it.

    Igor,

    To the best of my knowledge, you cannot apply fixpacks (security fixes
    and interim fixes) to DB2 community edition.  As Philip stated, you just
    download the latest fixpack edition from here:

    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/318421

    install it and without installing a license you will be running the
    community edition by default.


    DB2 can also be downloaded from IBM Fix Central

    https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/

    If you download from Fix Central, select the "DB2 Server Fix Pack"
    and not the "DB2 Universal Fix Pack".  The Server Fix Pack should be
    identical to the version found on the "Download Db2 Fix Packs by version"
    page (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/318421).  The Universal
    Fix Packs only apply to licensed products.
