  • 1.  Date Format Issue to show UTC time

    I need to show the date format YYYY/MM/DD  UTC  time in the excel. How can we show the UTC time in cognos?? And the other issue is that date format in HTML is showing correctly but when ran in excel it shows with hyphen YYYY-MM-DD instead of YYYY/MM/DD. May be casting the date column and using extract will convert to YYYY/MM/DD but how to get the UTC time in cognos reports??

    Hi,
    In Reporting you can format the column to many different formats. I've attached a screen shot of where to find this item.
    You can also assign a format in the modeling tools, either Data Modules or Framework Manager.
    Please let me know if that's not quite what you had in mind.

    How do you show the UTC timing in the report??  In the data format,  we don't have the conversion to show UTC  timing option.
