Hello,

I added the Author role access to Dashboard and would like to grant the Author role Dataset access. The issue I'm having is if a user is an author with write access to a few packages and has run access to other packages they will have access to create a Dashboard and/or Dataset using the packages they have run access to, however they can't create a report as they only have run access and no report studio capabilities.  I'm interested to hear if anyone ran into this same issue and has a solution to this security setup?

My user would be in a read and a write security group, I tried granting the write group dataset access and setting the read group access with no dataset permissions but the user can still create a dataset using the package they have read access to. If we can limit the capabilities to report studio at the package level there has got to be a way to limit dashboard and dataset access as well.
