    Good Day ,

    I wanted to explore the option of using  IBM Datapower (virtual hosted on prem)  to perform credit card tokenization and detokenization ( or any PCI approved encryptions and decryption methods) . Today we are using side call from DP to different tokenization product that is performing the job but am future thinking how datapower could be used to replace existing tokenization product which benefits in lower latencies , PCI scope system and few other. 

    Happy to have more conversation on this as needed. Thanks in advance for any inputs and suggestions.

    Hello, 

    Usually IBM DataPower does not have a built-in out-of-the-box functionality to perform card tokenization. IBM DataPower is mainly used is primarily used as a security and integration API gateway platform. Hence the best solution will be to integrate with a third party system dedicated for tokenization.
