  • 1.  DataPower MQ Libraries Missing

    Hi,

    I have inherited a DataPower Appliance in a customer DR site. However it appears that the MQ Libraries are missing?!

    A show version shows the following:

    idg(config)# show version

    Serial: 7801581
    Version: IDG.7.6.0.15
    Build: 309139
    Build date: 2019/05/23 19:58:32
    Watchdog build: IDG.7.6.0.15
    Installed DPOS: IDG.7.6.0.15
    Running DPOS: IDG.7.6.0.15
    XML accelerator: embedded
    Machine type: 8436
    Model type: 52X
    Tenant name:
    Access Manager: all
    Coproc: 1.2
    JMS: 2.0.3

    When compared with a working Production appliance a show version is outputting:

    idg(config)# show version

    Version: IDG.7.6.0.15
    Build: 309139
    Build date: 2019/05/23 19:58:32
    Watchdog build: IDG.7.6.0.15
    Installed DPOS: IDG.7.6.0.15
    Running DPOS: IDG.7.6.0.15

    Machine type: 8436
    Model type: 52X
    Tenant name:
    Access Manager: all
    Coproc: 1.2
    JMS: 2.0.3
    MQ: 8.0.0.0

    Is there a way to manually install the MQ Libraries into DataPower? Or have I inherited a faulty appliance?

    Hi Connor,
    I'm certainly too late here,
    but to recover missing base MQ libraries on DataPower a support ticket is needed (https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/).
    Support team will get you a special build to fix that issue, which is rarely seen.
