Hi I just try the new data table in 11.1.6 but i am facing one big issue.

When running the table and have the output in HTML if the user click on the filter of one of the columns he can search for item but once found this item can only be deselected. So if i have a list of 200 countries and i want to filter to see only 1 or 2 i need to deselect all the others one by one. I can not deselect all of them and then filter only the one i need. 
Is this known behavior or am i doing something wrong?

That is a bummer, but I guess we can shrug it off as a "first release" gap in functionality.  I know it's not equivalent, but I've been using the Filter features in Dashboard widgets, and I really like the fact that they have an "Invert" option, so you select the one or two items you want to EXCLUDE, click the Invert checkbox, and you're there.  Perhaps a short-term workaround is look at possibly delivering your info via a dashboard?

I have report using Tabs as custom control. In one of the tab, I am using iframe to refer to Data Table. If I navigate to this tab immediately, iframe loads correctly Data Table; however, if I don't go to Tab with Data table for some time, it doesn't render Data Table. 

Do you know what can be done ​to troubleshoot this further?

I have seen similar behavior with Active report and always have to copy list to other reports instead of using reference due to this issue.

We have requirement to keep top most Category open by default and ​rest collapsed. Is it possible to change it in same Data Table or planned to add control over this feature by "Show Top10 group open"?

Also, if there is no need to scroll, can we hide scrollbar?

Hi Buddhi,

We have the option to specify the initial expand/collapse state, but not for specific category. The plan is to be able to save expand/collapse state when the author saves the report. That should satisfy your usecase.
When no need to scroll, the scrollbar still present is not ideal. We are looking for ways to disable it but this may not be in the product any time soon.
