Hi,
I have a Data Level, and Parameter Map Security. in Framework Manager.
I have created a Data Set based out of a Framework Manager Package which have Data Level, and Parameter Map Security.
When i create a Data Set  logging from one group and build a Dashboard from that Data Set. That Dashboard  does not respect security for different Groups.
Dashboard users from other groups get to see the data for the group from where the data set was created.
In Report Studio  when  we create a report a user  logs into their account they get to see the data for only their group.
Do any one have any solutions to it. Thanks

It is true that a data set will not carry forward the row level security from its source.

In this case best to author the dashboard directly on the original package, or a new dashboard-targeted simplified package based on the same FM model.

Hi, 

You can export your parameter map to a file, import in Cognos, join with your source and implements security directly on Data Module.

After that, remove read permissions on data module, just "execute" is needed.
