Hi all,
I have an Oracle schema with 65,000+ tables and would like to load metadata for just a select few. If I try to view the list of tables under load options, the list never populates and I end up with a proxy error. I can't even use the find option to narrow down the list of tables.
Attempting to just load the metadata results in the query service getting overloaded (24 GB allocated).
I wonder is there somewhere in a logs file I might be able to get more details, are there some tuning parameters specific to metadata loading? When speaking to support previously this wasn't available. At the time we were using 11.1.5 so curious if options might have changed.
This is the error I see:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>502 Proxy Error</title> </head><body> <h1>Proxy Error</h1> <p>The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.<br /> The proxy server could not handle the request <em><a href="/cognos/bi/v1/metadata/schemas/tables">GET /cognos/bi/v1/metadata/schemas/tables</a></em>.<p> Reason: <strong>Error reading from remote server</strong></p></p> </body></html>
Thanks,
Jeremy
