Data reduction option during pool option removed/hidden in 9.1.0 (starting in 8.7.3.0)

    Can someone can explain why the option for Data Reduction when creating pool is now hidden in last releases.

    This option can be enable back in the settings.

    Is there something deprecated ? Do we need to take care of something special using this option ?

    Hello Stephane,

    With 9.1.0.x, you can enable the Advanced pool settings:

    After enable you have the option for DRP back.

    I did know how to enable it.

    My question is more why this option is hidden in latest release (so don't use it by default) ? Is it deprecated ?
