I'm working with Cognos Analytics Dash-boarding for the last year.
We have created 3 nice Dashboards and they working Fine. Because we had no star models yet in the data-Warehouse we created it on the source-data model with FM Package. The Package is loaded in a data set and the dashboard is working on the data-set. It work fine and has acceptable performance.
In the database we created a star model for this dashboard. And now the strange part comes:
I try to relink the dashboard to the live package and this is not possible. With a lot of side ways I got the dashboard linked to the live Package. But I have to add all the replace all columns in the visualizations on the dashboard. But when I save the dashboard, other user are not able to start the dashboard. If we look closer it is because the live package is not showing columns....?
I posted to sreenshots: With my view (I can see the columns of the package) and the view other users are seeing. (All other user have full control on all the used objects.)
This is really strange? Does anyone have experience with this problem?
