We seem to have consistent issues when a number of users attempt to use the dashboard tool simultaneously. This mainly rears its head during training sessions, but has occurred during busy times at well. I am wondering if anyone here has similar issues or potentially knows a fixWe are on CA 11.0.13, using gateway and one dispatcher dedicated just to the 4 packages we use for dashboards. The packages are FM models. The other two dispatchers in the system are routed to handle all other requests. When under load, the user simply gets a red X and says something to the effect of "the data can not be loaded" or "We can't retrieve the data" . A lot of time, having the users close the browser and remove all cookies and history will fix the issue, but not always.
On the server side I typically see no errors , but do occasionally get this in the logs "Error is: XQE-ROL-0002 Cannot find cube [insert package name], verify cube exists in COGNOS Content Manager." clearly the package exists, so I am not sure why it can't find it. If this error occurs it seems to crash the JVM and that dispatcher will no longer process anything but also not error. This can only be resolved by a dispatcher restart which will fix the system for some time.
I am not sure what settings I need to check or expand to allow more access as there is little to no documentation on how to scale the environment for Dashboards for users. The CPU and RAM is never maxed out, so I don't think its a server hardware issue.
We have already expanded IIS query string, and url length to the MAX size as described here: We can't retrieve the data from data set
Any additional Troubleshooting steps would be great as users and especially training staff have are becoming increasingly annoyed at this constantly happening
