Hello,

I have a question about Dashboarding. We have a dashboard build upon the data set. We would like to add an information about last refresh date directly into the dashboard. Is there any way how we could retrieve last data set refresh date? 

We are using CA 11.1.3 but we are planning to upgrade to CA 11.1.7.

You can create a data time with current_date in Dataset and use it on Dashboard.

Right, add that new Field when you create/update the dataset - current_date() - and then it becomes just data you can project in the dashboard however you want.
You could use a List widget with a Title to show the data as you can see below:
