Hi Champs,
I have installed Cognos 11.0.8 using the "easy install" option. I have created a db2 data source also but while testing the data source, I am getting two entries 1) IBM DB2 compatible with status fail with error details QE-DEF-0285 the logon failed. QE-DEF-0325 the logon failed for following reason: RQP-DEF-0068 unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database attach to 1 databases.
UDA-SQL-0569 unable to load the driver manager library (db2cli.dll)

The second entry is IBM DB2 (JDBC) which is getting succeeded.

How to resolve this issue as I am unable to run metadata wizard in Cognos FM?

Also Should I install db2 client database in Cognos server?

My first question is why are you still trying to use Compatible Mode?
I would guess that you have a lot of content that is still using CQM.
CQM will require the client to be installed.
