  • 1.  Create CSM snapshots and specify pool

    SV 8.7.3

    CSM 6.3.15

    When using the addsnapshot command I can use "-pool" to specify which storage pool(s) to store the snapshots.

    Can I achieve the same with a CSM generated snapshot?

    Yes.  If look at the Snapshot session properties (View/Modify Properties), on the Snapshot option tab, you can define the pool to use for both the snapshots as well as any clones/thin clones.
