  • 1.  Corrected: Can Not Import Stored Procedures into Framework Manager

    Posted 12/14/21 10:32 AM
    Good Morning,

I hope that you and yours are all doing well. I need your help.  Would you kindly study the two attachments.  I need to import and then invoke the stored procedure in Framework Manager to manage the Goals that are depicted in the screenshot of the dashboard.  I have already created the table and store procedure in SQL Server Management Studio.  The table imports fine; however, the stored procedure does not.  I can not import stored procedures from the database as depicted in the attached picture. They do not appear in the list. Therefore, it can not be selected in Framework Manager. Does my FM data connection require special configuration considerations to recognize and import stored procedures?  What is the solution?

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me at 410-312-8822.

    Warm Regards,

    Eli

    Elihu,
Do the stored procedure need grants to allow the user from Framework Manger to be able and see them? Which version of FM are you using?

    Hi Eli,
AFAIK, no special permissions are needed.
I set up a simple stored procedure against the gosales model and it shows up in the FM dialog. I needed to restart the 'run metadata wizard' action.
Let me know if you'd like to do a webex, you can contact me at henk.cazemier@ca.ibm.com
