Hi all,

In 11.1.6, I wonder is there an option in creating a URL to a dashboard that will collapse the filter panel upon opening the dashboard?  Or possibly hide it?

I don't see it listed in the documentation but maybe someone in this group has pulled it off.

I don't think currently there is any parameter you can pass in URL to hide the filters by default. What I was told to this question in one of the webinars is that if we save the dashboard with filters hidden or shown, then when the dashboard is opened next time the filters will be hidden or shown respectively. So, as per that statement, if you save the dashboard with filters collapsed / hidden, when you call the dashboard via URL, they should remain that way.

I know they added the collapse filter option but that doesn't seem to save when you set it and save it. 

I also don't see anything in the Creating Custom URL, https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEP7J_11.1.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.ca_gtstd.doc/c_wig_cr_create_custom_url.html
for it either.

If you post your new idea, I will share with my team and ask them to vote for it.
