    Hi all,

    Recently installed Cognos 12.0.1 on my Win2019 dev server and I'm noticing that Package-based drill-through definitions seem to have eliminated the "Set scope" feature. The only scope available is "Entire package". In Cognos 11.2.4, the "Set scope" feature could be seen by using a Firefox browser (Set scope would not appear with MS Edge or Chrome browsers). However, with version 12.0.1, none of the browsers show the Set scope feature.

    The 12.0 documentation still advertises package-based drill-through with "Set scope", so I'm wondering if there is some trick needed to turn it on. Or is it gone forever.

    Hi Syd,

    yes you're right, the entry is missing also on my system. Will open a ticket at IBM Support for further investigation.

    IBM Support confirmed that it is a bug. An APAR will be created. I'll post it when it is published asap.

    IBM Support logged a defect for this issue as "PH60653 MISSING SCOPE ENTRY OPTION WHILE CREATING DRILL-THROUGH DEFINITION FOR PACKAGE".

    It has been submitted to the dev team for further investigation.
