When i go to Framework manager and clicks to open it as an administrator i see the Framework manager GUI and it does let me create a new project. But when i click the option to Open a Project Framework manager shuts down and closes immediately.  It was all working well in past. I uncinated the FM and installed it again but it is still having the same problem. Can anyone please help. Thanks

Be sure to run Windows Update first and reboot if needed.

I assume you are using Cognos Analytics v11.2.4 FP3 or later. For security reasons, you should use Cognos Analytics v11.2.4 FP6 (11.2.4-2506192115) or later.

As an administrator, download and install alternate web technology support for Framework Manager authentication (Microsoft Edge WebView2).

Uninstall Framework Manager.

As an administrator, install Framework Manager.

Enable WebView2 (Configuring authentication using WebView2 - IBM Documentation).

Try to create a new project.

You are using Cognos Analytics v11.2.4 IF4 (Interim Fix).
