Hi all,

we have installed Cognos Analytics 12.0.0 and have encountered a few irregularities during testing the "Samples".

For some Folders and Reports the name is displayed in Czech altough the content language is set to German. The bigger issue for us was the broken Data Modules in the Samples that did not link with the csv files. We had to link every csv file to the Data Module to make it work. The Samples are not synchronised with the content.

Did anyone have the same behaviour for the new samples in 12.0.0? Is there an approach to fix it except for linking every csv?

we also had this once with the sample data but that was back then with CA 11.0. The langue has been fixed in one of the releases of CA 11 and I've ust looked at the samples in our fresh CA 12.0.0. environment and all looks good. Nothing in Czech and all data modules are linked to its source files.

How did you set up the import? I think I've chosen to assign new IDs and to upgrade the specifications to the latest version during the import.

thank you for your reply. I imported the samples for the first time as it was a new content store.

Importing the samples for a second time solved the language and data module problems somehow.
