    Hello,
    We have installed Cognos Analytics 11.1.3.
    Users use Dashboard to generate reports.
    We note that having several Users working with the tool, its performance is bad.

    I have searched for information on the internet and I have not found much documentation on this subject.

    Any performance improvement tips for dashboards?

    What is the data source for these dashboards (Uploaded files or Data Modules)?

    Hi.
    The data sources are PowerCubes.
    In some cases, the PowerCube has a size of 7Gb.

    Powercubes might be the challenge.  I assume those cube models have been generated with the most current version of transformer.
    Have those same cubes performed well with Reports or whatever studio was used when those cubes were first created?
    The query service for Dashboards only supports DQM therefor the older technology used by PowerCubes is not optimized during this translation from a DQM request to the olap engine.

    Hi Diego
    I've had similar performance problems recently with powercubes but much smaller cube sizes (2-5mb) for example the old gosales cubes samples. I would recommend looking at your browser developer tools menu and look at the network load times (Chrome for example has the ability to see the time taken to load the dashboard page broken down by different service calls).
    This will help you determine whether it is a data query issue or something else.
