Hi Everyone,

In Cognos 11, I have a list table report. I apply a filter to exclude specific items from a column, e.g. cat, dog etc. However some rows in this column are blank and that is OK. 

When I apply the filter and run the report again the report removes Cat, Dog and all the blank fields also. 

How can I run the report and keep these blank rows.

What is the expression for the filter?
Have you tried adding a test for null, e.g.    OR animal_col IS NULL  ?

I have selected the option to Include Null, it removes these blank rows?
