Hi Experts,

I have a potential client who would like IBM to conduct a health check to it's Cognos platform (Cognos v11.0xxxx).

There would be two aspects to this consultation work.

1.  Assess it's hardware and software configuration to ensure it is able to handle it's current and future workload.

2.  Assess it's Cognos deliverables (reports,cubes,FM data model etc...) to ensure they adhere to best practice, meet performance expectation, components reuse , maintainability etc.

I have been trying to find artefact/deliverables for this type of work in IBM repository but can only find very old documents dated back to 2013 and are mostly for Cognos 8 which is mostly irrelevant. There are huge differences between v8 and v11 that render some of the practices not suitable.

Does anyone have any materials and have conduct similar work for Cognos 11 ? Does IBM have a point of view for Cognos 11 best practice ?

Beyond that, the sales team is often active in performing sizing exercises - do you have a contact from the account team side who is helping with that?
