We are using Maximo and thinking of moving to the cloud - a trial version we are using does not have any Migration Manager scripts in it - is this standard or should it look like 'normal' Maximo which has tons of M.Mgr scripts?

There are multiple providers offering Maximo as a SaaS solution (including the company I work for in full transparency) but based on what you're describing, it sounds like you're utilizing the multitenant version of Maximo managed via IBM (referred to as Maximo EAM SaaS). For the most part, this will look and function like standard Maximo, but there are some differences such as migration manager and automation scripts due to how those typically work (since you're now working in the confines of a tenant in a system where other tenants reside). For automation scripts they developed a new scripting language that is more limited than Jython to avoid issues when dealing with a multitenant system, such as an infinite looping automation script crashing an application server.

IBM also offers what is called Maximo SaaS Dedicated, which is the standard Maximo you're used to (not multitenant) so all the front end applications will look and function as you expect. To the best of my knowledge, this is what all of the third party providers utilize as well. Anyone can run Maximo multitenant, but aside from the IBM offering, I'm not aware of anyone else actively selling it as a SaaS solution today.

    1) Certain functionalities are disabled in Maximo SaaS shared due to shared environment
    2) Also Maximo SaaS shared doesn't support Industry solutions (You have to choose Maximo SaaS Dedicated )
