  • 1.  Cloning Brocade 5300's

    Posted 05/10/21 07:07 PM
Hello. I've been cloning some Brocade 5300's, and the cloned switch has some options in it's configuration  that the master didn't have.
I can't find information on all the options in the backup file's from the switches. Could someone point me in the right direction. Either documentation or the command
that updates these settings. I'm at fos 7.3.1d

I ran the configDefault -all command prior to cloning them with the configdownload command with backups from my current switches.

For instance, The latest switch I cloned had these:

    http.domn:
    http.fqdn:
    http.maxheapsize:512

    fips.selftests:1
    fos.sddqChassisLimit:10         ( slow drain device )
    passwdcfg.oldpasswd:0
    rte.optTwoPath:1
    system.i2cTurboCnfg:1
    switch.dynamicPortname:0
    switch.login.perSwitchMax:6400
    zoning.TIZoneFilter:0

    kex.ssh:ecdh-sha2-nistp256,ecdh-sha2-nistp384,ecdh-sha2-nistp521,diffie-hellman-
    group-exchange-sha256,diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1,diffie-hellman-group14-
    sha1,diffie-hellman-group1-sha1

    mac.ssh:hmac-md5,hmac-sha1,hmac-sha2-256,hmac-sha2-512

I even tried removing the above from the backups, and then restoring the backups to the switches.
    Didn't help.
    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hi Eric.
We had to research your request on the products that you reference since they are old. I'll send you a note privately on what we found.
    Thanks
    Tim
