    What are the risks of setting up a Maximo Organization with a 'dummy' clearing account? Can this be changed if the business later decides to integrate to an ERP system?

    No issues.  When it comes time to use and ERP, then do the integration, make sure all the defaults are correct, push those to the reference records, and ensure that the format of the GL is correct.

    I agree with Craig, but I would still recommend getting the gl configuration matched up to what you use now, so hopefully, you don't need to do a config later when you have a lot of data in place throughout the application.

    The GL components have been matched up with what is expected on the ERP system, however, for now, a dummy GL account has been created and used as the clearing account for the Organization set up.
