    Hi I am engaged in working on project where there is a potential to allow our IT to join an existing ClearCase VOB server to a new Domain B, and the notion that a Trust will still exist to the old domain A, and life will be fine, until the time comes where the Domain A disappears.

    I will assume all servers will need to have Views removed at the point the old domain goes away, and the ClearCase service accounts and groups which are now also replicated to DOMAIN B have different SIDs is this correct ? Will I need to reprotect the vobs ?

    1. Will the user accounts, or CCADMIN accounts and groups still work on the VOB server after reboot ?
    2. Will I be forced to follow the procedure as if I moved a vob?

      What would you do ?
