    MAM 7.6.1.2:

I have an imported db view called CGWOTASKROLLUP_VW. I want to use the ACTTOTALCOST field from that view as a field in the WO Advanced Search.

Unfortunately, the team who set up the Maximo object for that view set the Search Type to "NONE"
I believe that's the incorrect search type. In order to use that field in the WO Advanced Search, I think the search type needs to be "EXACT".

    Question:

What are the minimum steps for changing the attribute search type of a db view in an imported Maximo object?

    1. Write down how the view is currently set up in the Maximo object:
        - Object tab
        - Attributes tab
        - Relationships tab
    2. Delete the Maximo object.
    3. Manually recreate the Maximo object (import the view) using the notes that I wrote down in Step 1. This time, use the "EXACT" search type instead of "NONE".
    4. Plan and initiate a system outage to commit the database configuration changes (for all 6 environments):
        - WebSphere admin staff bring the clustered system down
        - WebSphere admin staff put Maximo into admin mode and apply database configuration changes
        - WebSphere admin staff bring the clustered system back up

Is that the easiest way to make this change to an imported Maximo object?
I just wanted to confirm, since it will be quite an ordeal to do that, and possibly make this requirement not worth the effort.

    Thanks.
