  • 1.  Centering Date Prompt Object...BUG?

    ​Hello - I'm having difficult centering a Date Prompt object.
    Quick way to reproduce/test:
    1. Create a new report.
    2. Opher the Prompt Page
    3. Add a Block - Set Horizontal Alignment to Center
    4. Place a Date Prompt into the Block (can be Calendar or Edit Box UI)
    5. Run the report
    6. Is the Date Prompt centered? No.
    I've added Tables and Text and everything short of my own HTML code. Nothing seems to change the default (left) alignment.

    I'm using CA 11.0.13.1 (LTS)
    Is this a known bug, or am I missing something?

    I have no problem with this? see image where i set a tabel and a date prompt in and set horizontal alignment to center. 

    The date and time is directly in the tabel and second prompt is in a block with center as alignment. 

    Version 11.0.11

    Thanks @Morten Frandsen. I've waited to see if anyone with 11.0.13 replied, but none so far.
    It's definitely not working for me. I've even tried in IE and Chrome, so it's not browser related.
    Strange.

    Hi Opher, is it possible that your report template has some parent object "behind" the Block that you're placing that might have a different alignment behavior? Are you able to center other objects in same Block other than the Date Prompt?  Can you shift it using padding properties in the Block?

    Hello @Albert Valdez - Thanks for the reply. Padding is something I didn't test, and YES, it does move the date prompt within the Block.
    But I can use the BLANK report template that has nothing on the page. Drop a Block and set it to Center and then drop a Date Prompt in it. The Date Prompt appears centered in Page Design, but when run it's at the left margin.
    I've also used the browsers Inspect Element and found that the HTML doesn't have any 'center' attributes set. I think this will be found as a bug in 11.0.13, but only time will tell.

    I have quickly tried this in 11.0.13 and have had no issue with centering a date prompt within a block.
