Hi,

I am trying to regenerate cryptographic keys in Cognos Analytics 11 based on the following article:

I'm using v11.2.4 FP1 and there is no re-creation of caSerial file. I'm wondering if this article is up-to-date.

Note: I'm still trying to get rid of CAM-CRP-1157 Unable to synchronize the local common symmetric keystore with Content Manager.

Hi Patrick,

is it a single-server installation or do you have multiple Content Manager/Dispatcher/Gateway servers in your environment?

I also had a lot of trouble once with the recreation of the key. The reason: I didn't start with the CM and forgot to start up the service of the primary CM before the recreation of the keys at other servers. Don't know if this helps ....
