cannot import reqif file - corrupted xlsx.xlsx file

We are facing an issue while trying to import a reqif to our module.

The process issues at the beginning a warning that there is a _1242dsf.xslx.xls file which is corrupted and do we want to proceed?

Pressing "yes" will raise the same warning for different files with the same suffix until the process ends creating...nothing

Looking at the directory we find that we have the same files name but with the correct suffix (xslx), when we try to run the process again with the directory open we see that DOORS is creating the same files as xslx but with the suffix xlsx.xls and issuing the same warning.

We cant seem to find any answer to this strange behavior.

    Our DOORS version is 9.6.1.10

Where did the ReqIF file originate from? Can you ask whoever provided it to re-create the ReqIF file? This would help rule out whether it was corrupt when the source generated it. If that does not help, I would recommend raising a case with support so that it can be investigated further.
